Well, the weather was undesirable but that did not affect the desire of our boys to compete. We were few in number but we weren’t without our Tiger Pride. The Tigers finished first in their heats for the first three races, taking a 1st place overall in the 110h, 2nd place overall in the 100m, and 1st place overall in the 1600m.
The rain never let up, and turned to snow by the time we were leaving. These kind of conditions, for weak minded athletes, would keep them from coming even close to performing their best. However, Jordan Rothstrom found it within himself to not only perform well, but to perform better than he ever has in the shot put and discus. Check out the Mt. Tahoma Photo Album here:
